The Morisse Family Papers contain correspondence, photographs, reel-to-reel tapes, and citizenship papers of the Morisse, Zimmerman, Walter, and Rosenthal families of St. Louis, Cape Girardeau, Missouri, as well as Quincy, Illinois. Materials of interest include photograph albums compiled by Herbert Ernest Morisse, documenting the Morisse families' involvement with Boy Scout Troop 21 of the Ethical Society of St. Louis and their outings at Herb Ella cabin along the Black River. The albums also contain photographs chronicling Herbert Ernest Walter Morisse's years as a student at Washington University in the early 1930s. Other materials of interest include correspondence between Marian Morisse and her brothers, Walter and Henry Hoener, during World War II.

The papers reflect major areas of Morrow’s research on the southwest Missouri region; Iron, Shannon, and Washington counties; Theodore Pease Russell and his writings; and the writings of Silas C. Turnbo. The collection also includes a large selection of promotional publications and ephemera associated with late 20th century tourism in Missouri and Arkansas.

The Municipal League of Metro St. Louis records consists of member meeting minutes relating to the organization's mission to improve St. Louis County residents' lives by fostering cooperation among St. Louis County government and municipalities. Topics of interest include the League's lobbying of state and federal government for legislation designed to help municipalities better serve their residents, including the proposed implementation of an internet sales tax and the removal of radioactive waste stored in St. Louis City and County. Interspersed throughout the meeting minutes are resolutions, reports, and policy statements regarding recreational opportunities for at-risk youth in St. Louis County, solid waste management policy, and local control of municipal affairs in light of St. Louis County Executive Sam Page's restrictions on businesses in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Also included in the collection is a history of the League, written by Charles W. Sisler, a former Crestwood council member (1977-1991). The materials in this collection date from 1918 to 2020.

Headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, Alhambra Grotto maintained a county club on the St. Louis-San Francisco Railway west of Newburg along Little Piney Creek in Phelps County, Missouri. The booklet includes history, photographs, portraits, accounts of activities and every-name membership roster.

Edmee Baur Nash created three scrapbooks. The first scrapbook contains collected news stories about the Webster Groves League of Women Voters. League news stories were clipped from various St. Louis-area newspapers between 1948 and 1953. The second scrapbook contains family photos. The final scrapbook tracks the development of a child named William Nash, who was adopted into the family in 1936. In addition, the Nash collection contains signed artwork from various artists, a volume of Edmee Nash’s collected poems, and other items related to her writing hobby.

This collection contains an oral history interview of Helen Nash, MD, interviewed by Marion Hunt, on April 20, 1999. Nash was a pediatrician who worked at Homer G. Phillips Hospital and the Saint Louis Children's Hospital. She was best known for providing youth with sex education and reducing instances of infant deaths at Homer G. Phillips Hospital.

The records are maintained in their original order as received. The bulk of the collection consists of subject files on the various causes that Metro St. Louis NOW supported, such as the ERA, abortion, person abuse, childcare, school reform, human rights, credit for women, employment discrimination, International Women's Year, politics, rape, and religion. A vigil log contains members' reports on their experiences in Jefferson City during the ERA vigil watch.

The New Life Evangelistic Center (NLEC) Records contain correspondence, meeting minutes, reports, newsletters, newspaper clippings, and photographs documenting NLEC’s mission to provide Christian hospitality to the poor through social service programs and spiritual care. The collection is divided into five series: Administration; Larry Rice; Penny Rice; Chronological Files; Publications; Jim Barnes; Photographs; and Scrapbooks. The Chronological Files series consists of materials Larry Rice and his son, Chris Rice, gathered during their research for their five-volume history of NLEC. This series contains Rice’s handwritten drafts of the book, newspaper clippings, meeting minutes, and photographs, arranged chronologically by year. Other series of interest include the publications series, which consists of issues of the ZOA Free Paper, which NLEC published from 1972 to 2005. The materials in this collection date from 1949 to 2019.
