The Baptist Association Annual Meeting Records contain microfilm copies of annual meeting minutes of Primitive Baptist associations in Missouri, Arkansas, Illinois, Kansas, Ohio, and Oklahoma. The most complete series are for the Center Creek and Ozark associations of Missouri. The minutes include the proceedings of the associations, lists of churches, officers, and representatives, the articles of faith and rules of decorum, and correspondence with other associations.

Earlier record books may show occupations of members and their spouses. Records also show support services provided to members.

Roberts built houses, made and sold brooms, taught school, and owned a small mercantile store briefly. He was interested in Spiritualism and his second wife and one of his daughters were mediums. Includes a handwritten diary consisting of both shorthand and longhand entries. Entries were made every year on the writer's birthday, beginning at the age of 27, continuing until his death at 78.
