The Chief Wana Dubie Papers contain personal papers, scrapbooks and audiovisual materials that document Jospeh E. Bickell’s transformation into activist, politician, and philosopher known as Chief Wana Dubie. Though Chief Wana Dubie officially changed his name to highlight his advocacy for the legalization of marijuana, many official documents still refer to him by his birth name Joseph E. Bickell. The Chief Wana Dubie Papers collection includes radio interviews, campaign materials, newspaper articles, personal correspondence, and one DVD documentary titled Wana Dubie’s War.

Daybooks, ledgers, and payroll records of a family-owned milling company in Loose Creek, Osage County, Missouri. Operations included a sawmill, winery and flour mill. Most of the mill's business was done with local German immigrant farmers and their descendants. Early records are in German shorthand script and there are some gaps.

A collaborative project between the State Historical Society of Missouri and the Missouri Humanities Council, this collection emphasizes the past and present influence of German heritage in Missouri, including historic sites, past people, notable conflicts, religious influence, agriculture, music, art, and architecture. The German Heritage Corridor will focus on the counties north and south of the Missouri River, from St. Charles and St. Louis, to Chariton, Saline, and Lafayette. This corridor includes several distinct German communities, including New Melle, Herman, Dutzow, and Westphalia.
