The collection documents Trailnet Inc's early efforts to restore the bridge as a pedestrian walkway. The items in the scrapbook consist of photographs, newspaper clippings, correspondence, newsletters, and promotional flyers that chronicle several Trailnet Inc.-sponsored activities on the Chain of Rocks bridge, including Halloween events, birdwatching, and a marriage ceremony held on the bridge.

The Dolly Darigo Papers include correspondence, newspaper clippings, pamphlets, brochures, flyers, newsletters, and photographs chronicling the interests of Darigo from 1949 to 1994. Throughout her career, Darigo worked as a bacteriologist for the U.S. Army and later for Missouri Baptist Hospital; naturalist for the Missouri Department of Natural Resources; and collected and identified specimens for the state herbarium in Jefferson City. She was involved in a series of causes, including the United Farm Workers Union, Freedom of Residence, penal reform, and employment for the mentally disabled and to improve race relations.

This collection consists of correspondence, reports, and subject files concerning nuclear technology and radioactive waste sites connected to Mallinckrodt Chemical Works. Mallinckrodt developed a chemical process that led to the first nuclear chain reaction in 1942 and until 1966 processed uranium for nuclear weapons at plants in downtown St. Louis and Weldon Springs. The company dumped radioactive wastes at sites in St. Louis County.
