Ray Richmond was born in Fillmore, Illinois on June 5, 1896. He played minor league baseball for the Bloomers of Bloomington, Illinois before joining the St. Louis Browns in 1920 and 1921. Richmond played eight games for the Browns and had a lifetime record of two wins and one loss. He died in DeSoto, Missouri on December 21, 1969. Scrapbook primarily documents Richmond’s baseball career, with two letters from 1983 and 1984.

The Rotoscope Collection contains the personal papers of Rowe Carney Jr., photographs, patents, schematics and design materials, promotional material, and 35mm reels of film related to the Rotoscope. Invented by Rowe Carney Jr. of Rolla, Missouri, and Tom Smith of Urbana, Missouri, the Rotoscope is a single camera, single projection system capable of taking and projecting a scope of 180 degrees on one reel of film. The collection also includes film scripts written by Rowe 'Doc' Carney and correspondence related to the production of two of his films.

She also helped found and headed the Committee for Legal Abortion in Missouri in 1969. The collection includes correspondence, meeting minutes, newspaper clippings, speeches, and Senate testimony.

Jesuits established Sacred Heart in 1866 as the second church in Florissant, Missouri, to serve the growing German population of the predominantly French town. That year, the first combination school and convent opened and in 1877 the Sisters of the Precious Blood took over the educational mission of the parish. The records contain registers for baptisms, first communions and confirmations, marriages, and deaths, in Latin, German and English.

Scheidegger was the first local photographer in Kirkwood, opening a storefront studio on South Kirkwood Road in 1941. This collection contains a large collection of photographic negatives documenting much of the local architecture and the Kirkwood appearances of many national celebrities, including presidents and members of Congress.
