The clippings are undated and were pasted over a business ledger from Cleveland, Ohio. The Youth’s Companion, later known as The Companion-For All the Family, was an American children’s magazine, which began publication in 1827 and ran until its merger with The American Boy in 1929. The magazine was published in Boston, Massachusetts, by the Perry Mason Company.
