Henry Justine Tomas was born in Russia in 1918 and grew up in Lithuania. He worked as a translator for the United States intelligence services. He published Lietusviskasis Pamarys: Pakalnes ir Labguvos apskritys (“The Lithuanian Seashore: with local names and map”) in 1975.
