The Missouri Infantry Regiment, Phelps’s Quartermaster Records contain a microfilm copy of the accounts kept by Lieutenant Robert B. Owens, quartermaster for the Phelps’s Regiment while stationed at Rolla, Lebanon, and Springfield, Missouri in 1862. The accounts include records of receipt and issue of food, forage, clothing and camp equipage, lists of civilians employed by the army, and notes on wagon trains in quartermaster service.
