This collection consists of three black and white photographs loaned for copying. Two images show the historic building that now houses Sands Farm and Home Center at 107 East 6th Street in Rolla. The earliest image, circa 1900, shows two unidentified workmen in front of the blacksmith shop. The second image is a "real photo" postcard, circa 1908, also featuring the blacksmith shop. It shows one of the same workmen from the earlier view, two unknown men, and an extremely tall man in an apron. The third photograph
is a birds-eye view of Rolla, circa 1930, showing downtown Rolla from the railroad tracks looking southwest long West 7th Street. This photograph is attributed to I. J. Baumgardner, a Rolla photographer active from 1912 to 1941.
