Working in conjunction with the Coalition for the Environment and the Sierra Club, Green was instrumental in preventing flood plain development in Missouri and ensuring that the Environmental Protection Agency enforced clean air standards. Green was active in the environmental movement from the 1960s until he died in 2003.

Memos and guidelines for participating in the program from the JCRB to the adopted family contacts are also included. Other materials include a speech by Allan Greenberg in 1995 for the 50th anniversary of the Kehilath Israel Synagogue, and a letter to Alan Goldberg from President Bill Clinton in 1994 regarding the denial of Jonathan Pollard's application for executive clemency.

The Greene County Missouri Militia Exemption Records contains a photocopy of an “Assessment Roll of Exemptions from Military Duty,” for Greene County, Missouri, circa 1863. Most exemptions were from duty in the 72nd and 74th regiments of Enrolled Missouri Militia.
