The collection includes negotiated agreements with clothing industry manufacturers in St. Louis and the surrounding regions from the 1930s to the 1980s, primarily with the Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America (ACWA). It also has organizing literature and strike materials, particularly from the most active organizing period in the 1940s, plus correspondence from union officers, activists and rank-and-file members, including labor grievances and organizing reports, newspaper clippings, newsletters, and other union publications.
