Matthews was an architectural historian involved with the research and restoration of a number of buildings in the Kansas City area. Includes remnants of wallpaper from the Lightner house, Lexington, MO; rendering of a State Office building in Topeka, KS; and architectural drawing of Newbern Hotel, addition, Kansas City, MO.

Weiner was president of the Kansas City chapter of the Women's American Organization for Rehabilitation Training (ORT), an organization which building technical schools for underprivileged areas in Israel and the United States. Includes ORT flyers and newspaper clippings on the biennial ORT convention representing their Kansas City chapter.

World War I documents, photographs, diary and military tags of Freidberg, a United States Army soldier, born in Russia. Also Naturalization papers of Freidberg's father, Benno Freidberg.

The Maynard Dale Allen Autobiography consists of a single spiral bound notebook outlining the Allen family's genealogy as well as Allen's life from 1893 to 1937. Allen recalls his first interactions with automobiles and telephone service, visiting Kansas City as a teenager, moving, the Great Depression, politics, and war.

This collection contains materials related to the history of Menorah Medical Center. Newspaper clippings, reports, and photocopies of documents detail the development of the hospital along with the Arthur Mag Distinguished Leadership Award, named after one of the hospital's earliest directors.
