This is a booklet containing the bylaws of the New-Mac Electric Cooperative, Inc., which served members in Newton and McDonald Counties in Missouri. The cooperative was formed in 1939 and these revised bylaws became effective on July 14, 1944.

This is a letter dated May 29, 1919 from Howard Gresham, a wagoner in the Army of Occupation at Neuwied, Germany to Clara Carns in Jasper County, Missouri. The letter discusses life in the army and mutual friends and relatives.

The firm operated a mining lease and had a plant at Carterville. The certificate was registered to A.P. Callahan and was signed by A. F. Dexter, President, and J. F. Dexter, Secretary.

This collection contains certificate number 542, dated April 19, 1911, for five shares of stock in the Puritan Mining Company at Joplin in Jasper County, Missouri. The company was organized in 1909 and failed in 1913. The shares were sold to Olivia Ramed.

This collection contains certificate, number 134, dated August 27, 1904, for 1500 shares of stock in the Prairie State Mining Company at Joplin in Jasper County, Missouri. The shares were sold to R. F. Evans and signed by F. Y. Hamilton, president, and J. B. Morsman, secretary.

This collection contains certificate number 105, dated January 19, 1938 for 80 shares of preferred stock in the Webb City Factory Holding Corporation at Webb City in Jasper County, Missouri. It was issued to the Webb City Bank and signed by W. C. Ball, president, and Harry Easley, secretary.

This collection contains certificate number 20 dated October 22, 1908, for twenty shares of stock in the Armory Theatre Association at Aurora in Lawrence County, Missouri. The shares were sold to N. B. Pearman, who also signed as secretary of the coporation, along with N. V. H. Walker, president.

The shares were sold to Andrew Wayne Logan and the certificate was signed by Robert Tetley, president, and Kossuth W. Weber, secretary.

This is a promotional pamphlet for the Old Dominion Mining company at Joplin in Jasper County, Missouri. Included are date about the firm's officers, physical plants, and photographs of its mines, mills, and equipment. C.M. Sheldon was president and treasurer and E. P. Rhodes was secretary and auditor of the company.

This is certificate number 31, dated March 7, 1918, for twenty shares of stock in the Mansfield Mining and Development Company of Joplin in Jasper County, Missouri. The firm owned mining leases and contracts near Mansfield in Wright County, Missouri. The shares were sold to L. F. Livingston and the certificate was signed by N. Rosenberg, president, and C. O. Storm, secretary.

This is certificate number 319 for $100 for a 5% first mortgage gold bond issued by the St. Francois County Railroad Company on July 1, 1912 and due on July 1, 1914. It was stamped cancelled on October 12, 1914. Edward A. Rozier, secretary, and F. J. Rozier, vice-president, signed the bond.

This is a bulletin of information for patrons, students, and faculty for the Ozark Reorganized School at Ozark in Christian County, Missouri, for the school year 1955-1956. Clyde W. McConnell was superintendent of the school district.

This collection contains photocopies of a journal or daybook of a mercantile operation at the village of Winchester in what was then New Madrid County (now Scott County), Missouri. The proprietors were Christopher C. Houts and Mark Hardin Stallcup. Entries begin on December 13, 1816 and continue through December 27, 1817.

These are V-Mail letters sent from soldiers overseas during World War II, to the Macy family of rural Neosho in Newton County, Missouri. The letters are from Wayne H. Macy, Wayne G. Palmer, Lee B. Macy, and David C. Jones. The letters were sent to Mr. and Mrs. W. Arnold Macy and Mrs. Sue [Lue?] Macy. They were sent from North Africa, Italy, New Guinea, the Netherlands, East Indies, and Maluka, Indonesia.

This collection includes a centennial booklet, '1881-1981; Our First One-Hundred Years', and a centennial revival program, September 27-October 4, 1981, for the First Baptist Church at Purdy in Barry County, Missouri. The founding pastor was J. K. Northcutt and the current pastor was Ben J. Dobbs.

These are stock certificates and correspondence from the Pennington-Gilbert Shoe Company sent to Robert L. and Louise D. Ayers of Rolla in Phelps County, Missouri. The papers concern the shoe industry, the Pennington-Gilbert shoe factory at Rolla, and the Bristol Shoe Company.

These are rate circulars concerning special passenger fares and other matters concerning fare collection and routing issued in March, April, and May of 1905 by the Passenger Traffic Department of the St. Louis and San Francisco (Frisco) Railroad company. For the most part they dealt with special rates for meetings, conventions, and home seekers excursions.

This single-sheet pamphlet contains the rules, schedule, and list of officials adopted on June 22, 1909 by the Church Baseball League at Rolla in Phelps County, Missouri. Teams representing the Catholic, Christian, Presbyterian, Baptist, Episcopal, and Methodist churches participated in the league.

The John Miller Leach Diary contains a typescript copy of the diary written by John Miller Leach, a member of the 10th Cavalry Regiment, 8th Division, Missouri State Guard, and the 6th Missouri Infantry (CS). The diary begins on September 2, 1861 and continues through July 29, 1863. It describes operations around Pea Ridge, Arkansas; Corinth Mississippi; and Vicksburg, Mississippi.

This is a folded single-sheet illustrated pamphlet for Camp Yocum, a summer resort on the James River near Galena in Stone County, Missouri. Although the pamphlet is undated, Camp Yocum in known to have been active in the early 1920s.

This collection contains photocopies of a program booklet for horse show sponsored by the Marshfield Saddle Club at Marshfield in Webster County, Missouri. The show was held at the club's arena on September 29-30, 1961.

This collection contains a photocopy of a program booklet for the 14th annual Jersey show. It was sponsored by the Marshfield Lions Club of Marshfield, Webster County, Missouri, on July 30, 1947. The show was held under the auspices of the American and Missouri Jersey Cattle Clubs.

Lieutenant Colonel Charles A. Cowing was commanding officer, Lieutenant Colonel William T. Duden was executive officer, and Sergeant Carr C. Link was editor.

This booklet contains the annual report for the year ending December 31, 1944 for the Federal Mining and Smelting Company, which had mines in Idaho, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri. There are production statistics and profit-and-loss statements for each property.

Included are brief biographical sketches of early and influential pastors.

This is certificate No. 45 for 750 shares of preferred stock in the Missouri United Mines Company, a Maine corporation. The shares were sold to Olivia Ramer on May 18, 1907. the certificate was signed by F. B. Wilcox, president, and F. W. Kobusch, treasurer.

The Harry Anton Voight Papers contain the photocopies and original papers of a marine engineer, steamboat inspector, and Coast Guard officer who spent most of his career working on the Ohio River. Included are applications for federal positions, papers concerning service in the Marine Inspection Service and Coast Guard, photographs of the Ohio River flood of 1945, and personal papers.

Included are categories for prize competitions, a schedule of events, a roster of fair officials, and many advertisements for area businesses. Howard Fiehler served as president of the fair board.

This is a souvenir for the 1903-1904 school year at Pleasant Dale School in Barry County, Missouri. Clinton Marbut was the teacher and E. W. Walker was district clerk.

These are two stock certificates in the Shannon County Copper Mining Company, issued to Mrs. Ocie Hensley and B. W. Hensley on June 1, 1920 at Eminence in Shannon County, Missouri. J. E. Bennett was president and A. J. Clark was secretary of the firm.

This booklet contains the minutes and associated data of the 68th annual session of the Dade County Baptist Association, held at Fairview Baptist Church in Dade County, Missouri, on August 26-27, 1958. Ira Fortner of Lockweed served as moderator of the session.

These are three letters from W.D. Hoff, an attorney at Stockton in Cedar County, Missouri, to D. C. Entrekin at Independence in Jackson County, Missouri. They concern back taxes on land in Cedar County owned by the estate of Entrekin's late son, Torbert.

These are the secretary's minutes of the annual meetings of the Sixth District, Missouri Federation of Women's Clubs. The record book includes minutes of the twenty-ninth through fortieth annual meetings, 1932-1943.

This is a campaign card for O.Y. Jackson, Democratic candidate for collector of Cedar County, Missouri, in the fall election of 1918. Jackson was a resident of Eldorado Springs.

These are certificates of membership in the Tri-County Burial Association of Wheaton in Barry County, Missouri, for Floyd Roller and Lela Roller of Purdy. The Association provided burial benefits for members in Barry, McDonald, and Newton Counties in southwestern Missouri. Both certificates are dated August 28, 1935

This is a certificate of membership, dated July 11, 1887, for J.H. Affleck in the Bolivar Board of Trade at Bolivar in Polk County, Missouri. The certificate is signed by T.H.B. Dunnegan, president, and A. J. Hunter, secretary.

These are small campaign cards for Politte Elvins of Saint Francois County, Missouri, who was a successful candidate for United State Representative in 1908 and an unsuccessful candidate in the Republican primary election for Lieutenant Governor in 1920.

This is a receipt dated June 6, 1814 from John S. Brickey of Mine Shibboleth in Washington County, Missouri Territory, to Mrs. Banford for $3.00 for crying the vendue, or conducting a public sale or auction. The transaction probably was part of an estate settlement.

This collection contains a photocopy of an undated pamphlet that addresses the problem of dust from the slime piles in the Tri-State Mining District of Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma. It is subtitles, "Disposal of Mill Tailings in the Tri-State Zinc and Lead District."

This is a small booklet containing the bylaws of Clifton Lodge No. 463, A.F. & A.M., at Thayer in Oregon County, Missouri. The booklet is dated January 1, 1945 and includes the names of past Worshipful Masters from 1882 to 1945.

These are lantern slides showing springs, natural bridges, and caves in the Ozarks region of Missouri. They were produced for teaching purposes by Edward M. Shepard, a professor of geology at Drury College in Springfield, Missouri.

This is a brochure for Camp Carry-on near Linn Creek in Camden County, Missouri, for the 1919 season. Located on the Big Niangua River, the camp offered military training for girls in three-week sessions under the direction of Natalie Wilson and Delle B. Corum.

This is a small program booklet for the Girl Scout banquet held at Webb City in Jasper County, Missouri, on March 14, 1950. Mrs. Roy Lee served as toastmistress.

The letters include news of friends and family, and a few newspaper clippings.

This is a colored glass-plate lantern slide and accompanying descriptive sheet of Sunday School pioneers at Vichy in Maries County, Missouri. Believed to have been produced in 1927, the slide has been attributed to the Presbyterian National Missions Board. It shows a group of youngsters at Vacation Bible School.

This is a promotional booklet for Franklin Camp, a summer camp for women and girls near Sugarcreek in Venango County, Pennsylvania. The camp was operated by the Woman's Benefit Association, which also operated a similar camp near Hollister in Taney County, Missouri.
