Governor Miller praised GLOBE'S "Republican character" and ordered a subscription. He pledged widespread support of Andrew Jackson in 1832 in Missouri in spite of "the defection of Clay, Calhoun and company." Miller desired the election of William H. Crawford as vice president in 1832.
