The Blumenhorst papers document the histories of the Craig, Lewis, Watts, Wallace, and Woodson families from 1586-1959. The collection contains correspondence on westward expansion and social and political attitudes of the 17th and 18th centuries. Also included are wills, bills of sale for a slave and land, genealogical research, a land survey, and an 1849 Gold Rush diary.
