The papers of John W. Connaway contain personal and professional correspondence, research notes and writings, and brief personal material regarding his family. Connaway was Professor of Veterinary Science and Comparative Medicine at the University of Missouri Agricultural Experiment Station from 1888 to 1947 where he made significant findings in controlling Texas fever, hog cholera, brucellosis or Bang's disease, and other livestock disorders.
